Terms & Conditions

These terms describe the relationship between taracompew and individuals who engage with our website and educational programs.

Last updated: March 2025

Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the taracompew website located at taracompew.biz and the educational courses, materials, and services offered by taracompew ("we," "us," "our").

By visiting our website, registering for a course, or engaging with any of our educational content, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services.

taracompew operates as an educational institution providing financial literacy programs in Bangkok, Thailand. Our services are intended for adult learners aged 40 and above who wish to deepen their understanding of personal finance.

Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

Enrollment and Registration

Course enrollment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment and written acknowledgment from taracompew. Enrollment places are limited by cohort size and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

By enrolling, you confirm that:

taracompew reserves the right to decline enrollment or remove a participant from a program if their conduct is disruptive to the learning environment or inconsistent with our values of respectful, collaborative study.

Payment Terms

All course fees are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Current pricing is as follows:

Payment is due in full at the time of registration unless a payment arrangement has been agreed in writing with our administrative team. Accepted payment methods will be communicated during the registration process.

Course fees do not include any professional advisory fees charged by external specialists (such as estate attorneys) engaged as part of the Legacy Planning program, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the course description.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both participants and our teaching team, who prepare well in advance of each cohort.

If taracompew cancels or significantly reschedules a course, participants will receive a full refund of fees paid or the option to transfer to an alternative cohort.

Refund requests should be submitted in writing to [email protected].

Course Delivery

taracompew courses are delivered through a combination of live online sessions, recorded session replays, in-person Bangkok gatherings (where specified), printed materials dispatched to participants, and individual mentor or instructor conversations.

We endeavour to maintain session schedules as published; however, we reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to scheduling, facilitators, or delivery format where necessary. Participants will be notified of any material changes with reasonable advance notice.

Session recordings are provided for personal review purposes only and remain the intellectual property of taracompew. They may not be shared, distributed, or reproduced in any form.

Intellectual Property

All materials provided through taracompew courses — including workbooks, worksheets, presentation slides, recorded sessions, written guides, and website content — are the intellectual property of taracompew and are protected under applicable Thai and international copyright law.

Participants are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for their own private educational purposes during and after course completion. You may not:

If you wish to reference our materials in writing, please contact us at [email protected] to discuss appropriate attribution.

Nature of Educational Content

taracompew provides financial education — not regulated financial advice. Our courses are designed to build understanding, confidence, and thoughtful decision-making skills. They are not a substitute for personalised advice from a licensed financial planner, accountant, or legal professional.

Nothing in our course materials, sessions, mentor conversations, or website content constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific investment, insurance product, or financial instrument.

Participants are encouraged to consult appropriately qualified professionals before making any significant financial or legal decisions based on information encountered during their studies.

taracompew makes no representations regarding investment outcomes or financial results that may arise from applying concepts introduced in our courses.

Participant Conduct

taracompew courses bring together small cohorts of thoughtful adult learners. We ask all participants to engage with honesty, courtesy, and respect toward fellow learners and facilitators.

Conduct that is disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to the learning environment — including personal attacks, unsolicited financial promotion, or sharing of other participants' personal information — may result in removal from the program without refund.

Discussions of personal financial situations within group sessions should remain within the cohort and not be shared externally without the express consent of those involved.

Privacy and Personal Data

Your privacy is important to us. The collection and handling of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

By enrolling in a course, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, including for the purpose of administering your enrollment, delivering course materials, and providing follow-up support.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, taracompew shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in our courses or reliance on information contained in our educational materials.

Our total liability to any participant in connection with a course shall not exceed the amount of the course fee paid by that participant.

We take care to ensure the accuracy and currency of information presented in our courses, but we cannot warrant that all content will remain up to date given the changing nature of financial regulation and market conditions in Thailand.

Third-Party Services

Some courses involve engagement with external professionals — such as estate attorneys or family communication specialists — whose services are provided independently of taracompew. These professionals operate under their own professional standards and engagement terms.

Our website may also contain links to external resources for further reading. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or privacy practices of linked third-party websites.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Amendments to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our programs, legal requirements, or organisational practices. The current version will always be available on our website, with the "last updated" date noted at the top of this page.

Continued use of our services following notification of material changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
